Materials
All of our wood and solid composite vinyl gates will be constructed with full inner steel welded support frames or aluminum frames. The strength of the steel cored gates will increase the integrity of the product and help the gate endure the many the open/close cycles of an automated gate system for years of quality service.
As with the wood and composite gates, our custom crafted steel gates are constructed with special manufactured smooth galvanized steel tubing. This galvanized steel tubing, unlike plain steel, is manufactured to hold up in a salt based and damp environment which is typical of both the North and South Forks of Long Island. We go one step further and finish all our steel gates with a durable powder coat color finish. This finish will provide the gate with low maintenance cleaning and long lasting durability to withstand any type of weather elements.
Peconic Gate Systems also works with aluminum tubing to create a modern sleek design as well as to take on the appearance of a wood design. Similar to the steel gates, all aluminum gates are finished with a durable powder coated color of choice.
